Coalville had some extremely exciting news confirming that one of our gymnasts, Emily Pike has been selected to be apart of the East Midlands ‘B’ Team in the Bill Mcloughlin National Apparatus Finals.
This is a fairly new competition only starting last year in loving memory of Bill Mcloughlin he was a fantastic member of British Gymnastics being a coach and a mentor to other coaches. This competition consists of all the regions putting in a team with 4 gymnasts in each team. 3 gymnasts will compete on each piece with the highest score on each piece going towards the final team score. Emily will be joined by gymnasts from Robin Hood, Kettering and Worksop.
The competition will take place at Lilleshall National Sports Centre on September 10th!
