The Bill Mcloughlin national apparatus teams was set up in memory of a beloved British Gymnastics member, coach, mentor and teacher. Emily Pike was selected to represent the East Midlands B team at the event along with other gymnasts from Worksop, Kettering and Robin Hood, this was Emily’s first national competition representing the East Midlands so was a great experience for her.
The competition this year took place at Lilleshal national sports centre which is the home of the national team which is extremely inspiring for any gymnast. Emily competed on Bars, Floor and Vault and competed cleanly which was a great boost for her. Massive well done Emily. |
