This years regional county team competition was held on the 20th November at Leicester New College.
Juniors-
The junior team was marked on OA level 3 rules and from Coalville we had Mae Wilkinson, Madison Jurkowski, Abi Barham and Lottie Pinchess along with girls from Hinckley and H+B. Starting on floor the girls produced clean floor routines which was a great start for the team. Vault was strong for the girls also making it through to bars there was a couple of fall and good fights within the team really showing team spirit. Beam did not go to plan completely for the whole team however with the girls doing so well on the other pieces Leicestershire’s Junior team placed 1st in the region. Well done girls.
Seniors-
The senior team was marked on OA level 2 rules and from Coalville we had Sophie Winfield and Emily Pike along with girls from Hinckley and H+B. Starting on bars the girls put in great routines which was a strong start for the team. On beam there was a few falls within the routines however on a whole it was a good piece for the girls. Onto floor it was a slight rollercoaster for the team however produced some good powerful routines. Vault was a good piece for the team all getting the vaulted they needed nailed. Putting all this together the senior team also took 1st place in the region. Well done girls
