Coalville gymnastics club are over the moon with the way the gym has shaped up.
After starting the new building project on the 5th of January after just over a month we have a completed project! The building project involved knocking down walls of the old changing rooms, office, upstairs meeting room and parent room. Moving water pipes, moving industrial heaters, plastering walls, bricking in old windows, putting in new windows, fixing the leaks in the roof and much much more. With the help of all the volunteers this was made possible and we cannot thank you enough.
Since all of the walls had been knocked down as a club we have had to decide what to do with all the new space. As a result we have had the beam area moved into the new space. As the beams were in this new area we have had wall padding put across the walls to make it safe for the gymnasts. We now have the space to put up the SECOND set of A-Bars. In order to do this we had to purchase some new module mats to go underneath for safety.
Surrounding the new set of bars we have space to store equipment, room for gymnasts to do their range and conditioning routines, and also another preparation vault can be set up in the space. All participants within the club are benefiting from the new space and new set up from the parent and toddle class up to our senior competitors. So as a club we cannot thank you all enough for coming to spend time in the gym making Coalville bigger and better.
