20th September – Regional open age level 4 – New College
26th September – Club Championships – Coalville
4th October – County Teams levels 5,4,3,2 – New College
11th October – Regional Championships – New College

This years Downs Syndrome competition will be held at Leicester New college. Within our club we have got a positive disabilities program which has evolved over the years producing a strong team of gymnasts a long with all the coaches who spend hours with them.
Tomorrows competition (6/6/15) will see six gymnasts competing from Coalville.

Coalville Gymnastics Club have been lucky enough to have the extremely talented Buber Nebz Graffiti in creating gorgeous spray art work on our walls. One collage of Beth Tweddle and Rebecca Downie is particularly spectacular.
To give the wall the finishing touch we have managed to get hold of Becky Downie to come and visit the club, sign photos, talk the the children and share her experiences. Becky has had a lot of success over the years with more to come. She still is GB’s best all around female gymnast at an Olympic games placing 12th in Beijing. She has won many British, commonwealth and European medals also.

This Sunday holds our biggest round of grades showing the 3 different route regional, national and compulsory. We have a lot girls in each of the grade.
