We are about to commence on the first competition season of the year.

Here are the dates for our grades competition’s…

Development competition – 7th March – Coalville GC- This show cases our youngest development squad gymnasts performing modified grades routines, This also gives 007 gymnasts a chance to have a warm up competition before their first regional grades a few weeks later.

Regional Grade’s 6 + 5- 8th March – Leicester New College- These are the first two grades that gymnasts can compete at if they do not do the compulsory route. Previously known as grade 14 and 13 the grades are filled with new requirements and skills. 

Regional, National and Compulsory Grades – 22nd March – Leicester New College- This is the main bulk of grades consisting of the 3 different routes of grades. Where national and compulsory (apart from compulsory 5) can lead on to national finals. 

It is that time of year again !!!

Our annual awards night recognising the hard work of the gymnasts throughout the whole year !

This years awards will be held at Hugglescote Working Mens Club at 6:30pm 
You can collect your tickets from the gym office Adults £3 Child £1 

Food will be done differently this year as we will be selling hot dogs and burgers there will also be a tuck shop running !

So both the national finalists are currently down Guildford and have both done their podium training session, this gives the girls the opportunity to try the equipment and get use to the arena before their big event.

Madison Jurkowski is competing for the East Midlands level 3 team along with girls from Notts, they are in the first round on Saturday (1/11/14) and start warm up at 9am. If you wish to follow Madison’s competition you can do so by going onto www.gymdata.co.uk her competition will start from 10:15am.

Isabel Morgan is competing for the East Midlands level 4 team along with Notts, Hinckley and Kettering like Madison she will be competing in the first round on Sunday (2/11/14) starting warm up at 9am. Like Madison if you wish to follow her competition you can do so by going on to www.gymdata.co.uk her competition will start from 10:15am.

Our annual club championships was again a massive success once again!

Our championships definitely showed the progress throughout the years, having our 5 year olds up to our 14 year olds. All the girls did fabulously throughout the day performing skills which they work session in and session out.

Our day ran as successfully as it did due to our fabulous volunteers, judges and coaches so thank you all so much for making the competition run as smoothly as what it did. A lot of medals were given out at the competition for all around and individual apparatus which was good for the gymnasts too managing to gain some extra medals on different pieces.

The day was a brilliant success well done to all gymnasts that competed and all coaches for getting the girls ready for the competition.
