After following the success of Bethan and Harriot last weekend in the level 6 competition both coming away with a bronze medal Bethan receiving hers on vault and Harriot on beam the rest of the levels are to commence this weekend with levels 5-FIG we have got 33 gymnasts competing this weekend in the various levels as followed:

Coalville gymnastics club would like to say a massive well done to Karen Edwards and Katie Steele, both took their WA level 4 senior coach exam on Sunday (2/6/13) at the national centre in Shropshire. Katie had previously took her theory exam passing first time giving her an immediate qualification when passing her practical. Karen also passed her practical however took her theory on the day so her theory results are still pending. Another massive well done to the gymnasts that helped out on the day performing well.

Welcome to Coalville Gymnastics Club.

Coalville Gymnastics Club was established in 1972 and provides Artistic Gymnastics to children and adults of all abilities.

The Club is proud to be affiliated to the British Gymnastics Association and has been awarded GymMark accreditation.

As well as providing excellent recreational classes for both Girls & Boys, we provide excellent teen adult and Parent & Toddler classes.  We are also proud to offer disabilities coaching.

 We also have Women’s Competition and County Squads, here the focus and commitment to training by our gymnasts’ and experienced, qualified coaches alike is outstanding, this is reflected in our success at County, Regional and National level Competitions.  

 The facilities provided include a full size competition floor, numerous sets of bars, beams, Vault,Tumble Track and a sunken trampoline.  We also have a valuable pit area and a U pit (slash pit) area manufactured especially for the metal bar.  The viewing area provided allows our parents to be able to watch their gymnasts at work and feel part of this amazing club.

Coalville Gymnastics Club would like to Congratulate Grace Hammond on passing her grade 7 yesterday with a merit in disability gymnastics.

Well done to Grace and her coach Rachel for working hard together in order to get the result she did. Keep up the hard work.

Well its the end of the regional grades for the year and what a successful last competition receiving a medal in each grade.

A massive congratulations to all 16 gymnasts that competed today and all passed there grades today! this included 9 girls having to pass there range and conditioning !
